Leading Through Transition
Leading change is challenging regardless of the type of change occuring, whether it’s a large-scale change or a relatively small one. Surprisingly, even positive changes are difficult to manage. While every change is slightly different, the primary challenges associated with transitioning through the change are predictable. In the Accelerating Change – – Leading Through Transition module you will determine your preferred change style through the Change Style Indicator®, and learn how to lead, communicate and support others through transition and change.
Learning Objectives and Outcomes
In this 5-hour learning session you will develop the capability to lead your team through change by understanding and reinforcing the importance of the transition stages that support the human side of change initiatives.
By applying the concepts and skills from this workshop, you will:
- Understand key differences between change and transition and why it matters.
- Gain understanding and ability to leverage insights through the Change Style Indicator® (CSI).
- Explore the three-stage model for transition through change and how to lead, communicate and support others through transition and change.
- Establish a work plan for managing the transition through a change initiative.
